Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag is an action-adventure video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft in 2013 for the Playstation 3, the Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows. The game is the sixth major installment in the Assassin’s Creed series and was a game that set in the series in a brand new direction in the Carribean in the biggest open world map in the series to date. Locations of the world map include Haiti, Cuba and of course Florida.

Call Of Duty: Ghosts is a first-person shooter developed by Infinity Ward with assistance from Neversoft and Raven Software, and published by Activision on November the 5th 2013. In the game the Federation which is the fictional union of multiple countries from Latin South America that have united to create a super pact following fast economic growth. The Federation takedown the Odin Space Station which is an orbital kinetic bombardment weapons platform. The fallout from this disaster impacts the southern states of the USA such as Florida, Lousiana, Texas and New Mexico.

Gran Turismo 6 is a racing video game developed by Polyphony Digital and published by Sony Computer Entertainment in 2013 for the PlayStation 3 video game console exclusively. The game instantly received critically acclaimed reviews after its release due to its many cars and tracks who were all very high quality. The game features over 86 race courses with some being real and others being so-called ‘original’ courses, with the destinations ranging from Willow Springs, California, to the Autodromo Nazionale Monza from Italy and race tracks on the sun-kissed resorts of Florida.
Walt Disney World Quest: Magical Racing Tour
Walt Disney World Quest: Magical Racing Tour is a go-kart racing video game with the racetracks based on the attractions and geography of the Disney World Resort, the game was developed by Crystal Dynamics and published by Eidos Interactive. The game contains a two-player mode as seen in most racing video game, with racing being always 3 laps with some maps being on the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, on the Dinosaur attraction and also in the Haunted Mansion to name a few. It is important to note that Walt Disney World is based entirely in Florida.

A Golden Wake is an adventure video game developed by one man studio Grundislav Games with game developer Francisco Gonzales being the only member of the team and published by Wadjet Eye Games in October 2014. The game is set in the 1920’s during the Florida Land Boom, it is a story about a simple man who changes due to greed and lust for power as you guide protagonist Alfie to be the top real estate agent and developer in Florida.
Rory McIlroy PGA Tour
Rory McIlroy PGA Tour is a golf video game developed by EA Tiburon and published by EA Sports in 2015, it is an indirect sequel to the popular Tiger Woods PGA Tour video games. You play as protagonist McIlroy as you play on courses around the USA for the PGA Tour which is the biggest golf tournament in the USA with the majority of the action happening in Florida which has the perfect climate for golf with not a lot of wind or rain.
Nancy Drew: Secrets Can Kill
Nancy Drew: Secrets Can Kill is a point and click adventure video game developed by Her Interactive and published by DreamCatcher Games. You play as fictional detective Nancy Drew and solve the mysterious murder of a student called Jake Rogers at a local high school in Florida, the game follows a strict plot dotted with tons of puzzles and hints to guide the player throughout the journey.
Rolling Thunder 2
Rolling Thunder 2 is a run and gun arcade video game developed and published by Namco in 1990 in Japan and 1991 in Europe and North America for the Namco System 2 and the Genesis. The game is set in the 1990’s with the evil Geldra organization destroys many of the world’s satellites in space causing chaos and its the player’s job either playing as female agent Leila or male agent Albatross. The game takes place around the world in the global fight against the Geldra organization, however, a lot of them take place in Florida more than in any other place in the game with the first four chapters of the video game taking place in Florida.

Ride is a motorcycle racing video game developed and published by Milestone S.r.L studios in 2015, the game received mostly positive reviews and is praised by fans as the ‘Gran Turismo for motorbikes’ with the game at one point being in the Top 10 bestselling PlayStation 3 video games. The game features a lot of maps set in Italy due to the game studio developing being Italian but it features maps in lots of other lavish locations such as Florida, Switzerland, and Canada.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3: The Manhattan Project is a side-scrolling beat ’em up video game developed and published by Konami in 1991 in Japan and in 1992 in North America. The game begins with the Ninja Turtles being on holiday in Florida after a news broadcast they are watching is hijacked by their ultimate nemesis known as Shredder and takes April O’Neil who is an ally of the Turtles as a hostage giving the Turtles no choice but to kick his ass.
Act Of War: High Treason
Act Of War: High Treason is an expansion of real-time strategy video game Act Of War: Direct Action, it is developed by Eugen Systems and published by Atari Inc. The plot begins on the eve of the Presidential election day when both candidates are attacked and Task Force Falcon has to step in to save the day, they manage to save the presidential nominees but the current president is assassinated and its there job to find out who in the U.S government and secret service was responsible for this. A big part of the game takes place in Florida due to the proximity to it to locations such as Cuba and the Gulf of Mexico which are places where a lot of the conflict in the war strategy video game takes place.
