Monument Valley is literally a work of art, it has an illusion like feel to its art style. The game was designed so that every angle will be worthy of public display. The maze game requires you to use your environment to solve puzzles and ultimately get to the exit of the level. The game features a camera mode allowing to players to take screenshots.

Alto’s Adventure is a skiing game that is an endless runner game, the game features a Zen Mode which has no obstacles and features a very relaxing soundtrack in the background meaning that you can play the game for hours without dying just chilling :D.

The Witness

The Witness is a 3D puzzle game released in 2016, it is Jonathan Blow’s long-awaited indirect sequel to his other puzzle game called Braid. The player is left in a mysterious island without no explanation and has to solve puzzles in order to find out the secrets of the island. And believe me this is one of the hardest puzzle games I have ever played, but it is despite that absolutely beautiful you can just wonder the beautiful landscape for hours.

Journey is an indie game released by developers thatgamecompany(real name) exclusively for the PS3. In the game, the player controls a robed figure in 3D throughout a dessert environment. Players can meet in the game but cannot communicate with each other. There is no speech or dialogue throughout the whole game instead the character is just able to carry out musical chimes. The developers admitted that their aim was to make the player feel small and weak in order to go out and explore the world and fuel them to wonder around the in-game world.

Euro Truck Simulator 2 is part of the infamous Truck Driver Simulator game that takes you from the US to Europe. The game was released on the 19th of October 2012 and as of December 2016 has sold over 3 million copies. The aim of the game is to deliver different types of cargo ranging from oil to grain across very realistic European roads. The longer the distance the more you get paid, you must also refill your video, make sure to sleep and rest as well as following all traffic rules and speeding restrictions. As you gain more money you can buy better vehicles as well as further customize them.

Windosill is an environmental puzzle game released in 2009 for PC and iOS. The game was rated an amazing 90/100 by Metacritic which added that the game received ‘universal acclaim’. The game’s developers were also influenced by another game on the list called Alto’s Adventure. The beauty of the game is that everything on screen is interactive, the player has to continuously experiment with all objects and environments on screen in order to progress.
