ZombiU is a first-person survival horror video game developed by Ubisoft Montpellier and published by Ubisoft with the game at first being received exclusively for the Wii U and later for Microsft Windows, the PS4 and the Xbox One. The game is set in London where the player takes control of a zombie apocalypse survivor with the game being set in its release year of 2012, the player must battle the zombies and other monsters in order to save the world.

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is an action-adventure video game developed by Ubisoft Quebec and published by Ubisoft in 2015 for the PS4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows. The game is Ubisoft’s first Assassin’s Creed game set in London, with the game being set in the Victorian era. There are two protagonists to the game who are siblings Jacob and Evie Frye who are trying to find the ‘Piece Of Eden’ hidden in London.

Grand Theft Auto: London 1969

Grand Theft Auto: London 1969 is an action adventure game developed by Rockstar Canada and published by Rockstar Games in 1999 for the MS-DOS and the PlayStation. The game is not actually a standalone game but is instead a huge expansion pack for the first original Grand Theft Auto. It features tons of missions and also new skins and map expansions to the game.

The Getaway

The Getaway is an action adventure open world video game developed by Team Soho and Sony Computer Entertainment and by Capcom just in Japan in 2002 (and 2003 in Japan). The game focuses on two stories of two different characters, one is ex bank robber Mark Hammond turned police officer and the other being Detective Constable Frank Carter with the game showing their story and progress bit by bit before their paths collide near the end of the game.

Tomb Raider 3: Adventures Of Lara Croft

Tomb Raider 3: Adventures Of Lara Croft is an action-adventure video game developed by Core Design and published by Eidos Interactive in 1998 for Microsoft Windows and the Playstation and in 1999 for the Mac OS. The game begins in Lara’s home in London, England and the game takes place all around the world from India, the South Pacific, Nevada and Antarctica but a lot of the action happens in London probably the most out of all the games in the Tomb Raider series.

The Chaos Engine is a top-down run and gun video game developed by The Bitmap Brothers and published by Renegade Software in March 1993. The game is set in an alternate steampunk Victorian London where one or two players at the same time can battle the monsters spewed by the evil Chaos Engine.

Wolfenstein: The New Order is an action-adventure first person shooter video game developed by MachineGames and published by Bethesda Softworks. The game is the seventh installment in the Wolfenstein series and follow the usual protagonist William Blazkowicz who is continuing his fight to end the rule of the Nazis in an alternate timeline where they won World War 2.

Uncharted 3

Uncharted 3 is an action adventure video game developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony Computer Entertainment exclusively for the PlayStation 3 and later PlayStation 4 consoles. The game follows the series’ longrunning protagonist Nathan Drake who is embarking on a journey to find the legendary Atlantis Of The Sands.

The Order: 1866

The Order: 1866 is a third-person action adventure video game developed by Ready at Dawn studios and published by SCE Santa Monica Studios in 2015 exclusively for the Playstation 4. The game is set in a steampunk alternate timeline Victorian London where a group known as the Knights Of The Round Table battle to keep the world safe from ‘evil half breeds’ such as werewolves and vampires.

Hellgate: London

Hellgate: London is a dark fantasy themed action-adventure video game developed by Flagship Studios and published by Namco Bandai Games in 2007. The game has a lot of hack and slash elements as you stroll accross the massive open world map set in London you have to battle demons and other monsters in London’s fictitious underground dungeons. The game is set in a London that is infested with demons with only a few safe havens around the map where you can purchase equipment and supplies and not get attacked.

Jack The Ripper

Jack the Ripper is an adventure video game developed by Galilea Games and published by The Adventure Company for Microsoft Windows in 2003. The game has an interesting story, it is based around a fictional journalist from New York who is investigating murders from his local boroughs in New York and discovers that the infamous Jack The Ripper serial killer from London is involved in those killings.
